Terms of use

Lumi is a small living light you teach your courses to. You give it a sheet, it draws topics from it, it sometimes forgets a bit, and you explain it again. Each topic it remembers well lights a star in its sky. Lumi helps you review, it does not replace your classes or your teachers.

You must be 18 or over. You agree to give your real month and year of birth.

To draw questions from a photo, a PDF or a text, the sheet is sent to Google’s Gemini, through our server, only after you agree. It is not used to train a model. An AI can be wrong, so read the topics Lumi drew from your sheet and correct them if needed. Send only documents you have the right to use.

Lumi is free with a small number of sheet readings per week. Lumi Pro offers more each day, for €4.99 a month or €29.99 a year. The yearly plan starts with a 7 day free trial, and a reminder warns you on day 5 before the trial ends.

The subscription goes through your phone’s app store. It renews by itself and you cancel at any time in your iPhone’s subscription settings, at the latest 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple’s standard license agreement (EULA) also applies, on top of these terms.

Lumi is not a medical device and does not promise any result in your exams. Its only promise is to give you a gentle frame to review a little every day, by explaining to someone else.

You can delete your data at any time in Settings. Everything is erased right away, on this phone and on our server. Deleting your data does not stop your subscription, which is cancelled in your iPhone’s settings.

If these terms change, the app tells you beforehand, and French law applies. In case of disagreement, write to [email protected] first. You can also use a consumer mediator free of charge.
